My journey into the online space began in 2020, a time when I was navigating uncertainty and searching for something that aligned with my passions. Like many, I experienced setbacks along the way, but those challenges became stepping stones toward building something meaningful. Life brought me to Botswana nearly three years ago, and it’s here that I’ve grown in ways I never imagined. Botswana’s quiet rhythm, vast landscapes, and rich culture have deeply influenced me. Living in this serene country has taught me to embrace life’s slower pace—a stark contrast to my days in South Africa, where everything felt like a race against time. As a mother, my days are a beautiful blend of chaos and calm. Raising my daughter has been the most transformative experience of my life. She inspires me to create, to slow down, and to see the world with fresh eyes. Together, we’ve shared countless moments of joy, whether it’s exploring Botswana’s breathtaking landscapes or simply enjoying quiet mornings at home. Motherhood has taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of nurturing both my family and my passions.

Creativity has always been a constant in my life. While I only recently picked up sewing, it has quickly become a source of joy and expression for me. With my grandmother’s sewing machine—a cherished gift I once tucked away—I’ve embarked on a journey of learning, making, and discovering. From stitching scrunchies to designing clothing, every creation feels like a story in itself. Crochet, too, holds a special place in my heart. The meditative rhythm of looping yarn has been my solace on many quiet afternoons, and each project is a testament to the beauty of slow, intentional work.

Beyond crafting, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the art of living simply. Botswana has taught me to find beauty in the everyday—whether it’s tending to my garden (even if most of my plants don’t make it), exploring the wilderness, or sitting down to a quiet moment with a cup of tea. I’ve also embraced the challenge of being resourceful, learning skills like herbalism and even becoming my own nail tech. These small acts of creativity and self-sufficiency bring me immense satisfaction.

Travel is another thread in my story. While my adventures are often close to home these days, I cherish every opportunity to explore new places, both near and far.
